Partner of Governance Consultants S.A. www.governanceconsultants.com, a firm spacialized in Corporate Governance in Latin Amertica. He has led several projects on institutional strengthening and board optimization in leading Latin American companies, advising companies, multilateral entities and governments.

Among the organizations that he has advised is the OECD (for the Colombian access process between 2015 and 2017); CAF, development bank of Latin America (in various technical assistance processes and publications); IDB Invest (in corporate governance due diligence processes); Grupo Energia de Bogota (in its re-institutionalization process, since 2016); EPM Group (in assessments of its Board of Directors and structuring of the group’s corporate governance model); the Colombian Stock Exchange (accompanying the Corporate Governance Committee of the Board of Directors and as an independent member of the Investor Relations Committee); Ministry of Finance of Paraguay (through the structuring of its corporate governance strategy for public companies); and the Lima, Mexico and the Dominican Republic Stock Exchanges (in various corporate governance initiatives).

Andres is a lawyer from Universidad del Rosario (2004), with a master’s degree in corporate law and finance in Delaware (2007), and has made more than one hundred national and international publications on Boards of Directors and Corporate Governance.
